Founder Suzanne Bowness started her career as a journalist and maintains that love of connecting with people through interviewing. Clients appreciate the experience that comes from hundreds of articles written for dozens of clients. As a business leader, she helps communications professionals extend their reach by providing on-call writing and editing support. Our team is like your team, only our to-do list is open for booking.
Founder
Lead storyteller Suzanne Bowness is a writer, editor and content strategist. With 20+ years of experience, she’s honed a keen story sense and reputation for translating complex narratives for everyday readers. Her work has been recognized by the National Magazine Awards Foundation and the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Ottawa with a dissertation focused on early Canadian magazines.
In 2025, Suzanne shared her experience as a writer by publishing The Feisty Freelancer: A Friendly Guide to Visioning, Planning, and Growing Your Writing Business (Dundurn Press, 2025).
